Peter Jean-Marie is a Millennial Mogul whose former boss told him that he would never be a designer. And that he should stick to his day job. Now, the young designer sells his own designs from a kiosk next to his former employer. And, the Ritz Carlton exclusively carries his luxury brand!
Peter Jean-Marie is an entrepreneur who has succeeded despite the naysayers. The Florida native whose old boss at a Saks Fifth Avenue told him that he would never make it in the fashion industry. So, he quit his job to chase his dreams.
Peter’s story went viral back in October 2019. He did an interview with NBC2. In the interview, the Florida native and ambitious entrepreneur shared that his former boss told him that he would never make it in the fashion industry.
The Millennial Mogul launched his self named Clothing Label in 2018. His first collection consisted of neckties inspired by Ralph Lauren. To promote his brand, he started showcasing his designs at pop up shops. Eventually, he gathered enough capital to open a kiosk store at the Coastland Center Mall right next to his former employer.
Soon after opening his Kiosk, he received a call from the Ritz-Carlton Hotel asking to carry his label in their signature stores. Today, Peter Jean-Marie fashions can be found at Ritz Carlton locations on both Florida’s east and west coasts, as well as in California.
He is a true testament to the fact that regardless of how others try to discourage your dreams with a positive attitude and determination you can succeed.
