Sienna Sauce is a gourmet sauce with no high fructose corn-syrup and is gluten-free. What is even more amazing about this sauce is that its creator and CEO is sixteen-year-old Tyla-Simone Crayton. She launched the condiment company, Sienna Sauce, in 2017. The sauce sold more than 50,000 bottles last year and can be found in 70 retail stores across the US. According to the teen entrepreneur the business brought in $192,000 in revenue in 2019.
Tyla-Simone came up with the idea after her delicious formula became a hit with her mom’s wine and wings customers. After receiving great reviews, she decided to perfect her ingredients to remove the excessive sugar and sodium that are typically found in condiments and launch her company.
The 16-year-old who calls herself the CEO sauce boss has expanded her brand and now sells three different sauces: tangy, spicy and lemon pepper. She has won accolade after accolade for its taste and quality. The brand won “Best Sauce” in the 2018 and 2019 Sauce-A-Holic Fest. Earlier this year, the Grammy-winning artist, Chamillionaire, invested in Sienna Sauce.
After high school, Crayton wants to attend college and major in Business. As well as to work on growing her company. She is setting her sights on getting her sauce into fast-food chains.
